La fuerza del destino (song references are the trend y'all)

So today is VIERNES. We out here again ladies and gentlemen and today I had to face one of the many obstacles that I knew I would have to face, el metro. Now, I love to tell everyone that I'm from the southwest side of Chicago (Gage Park if y'all care). So I know how to get around without a car and with a car. However, I was more nervous about getting robbed and let's not forget the burundanga.

So I leave my house at 7:30am and walk like 5 minutes to the station Principe de Gales (such a fancy name). So I get there and I actually feel like I fit in. There are brown people so I just mind my business and put my headphones in. YOOO. This train was PACKED. I was like "Aight, I'll wait for the next train". AND THEY KEPT COMING ALL THE SAME. I finally pushed my way on the train and headed to the transfer point which was packed, but the train was empty so I'm like it's all good.

So we get to the stop and wait for the group to meet up to visit the school and meet other students and get a tour of the school. I always feel like these are weird and forced encounters, but as we ate some completos this girl named Vonni mentioned they played volleyball so I was like OKAYYY I play too and she gave me all the details which was cool.

So then I finally get to go home and I arrive and my host mom and I have some so we talk about the day. She mentions to me that she has an art showing she's going to and invites me. I was surprised to be honest. I didn't want her to think that she was being forced to take me out. So we go out and the exhibit is so beautiful. This French man did his display on nature and it was just really interesting. Then, my mom went out and talked to some more cool art people and we left.

Here is the "Deep" Daily Post for you all. I think after I saw this exhibit and the way my mom interacts with people it just amazed me how different the world is. On one hand we have people who go home and watch Netflix, which is fine. However, you never really know what the world does at night or what goes on in people's lives. Overall, I think she has inspired me to go out and become more in touch with the artistic aspects of life.

THE END ✌🏽🌞
